Being what we call a "last minute booking", some steps of the booking process may differ.

What is the cleaning fee?

It's a one-time payment to get your room clean and ready before your arrival.

What is the processing fee?

It's a one-time fee charged on your first invoice if you pay by credit card.

It's 3% of the transaction's total and although we'd like to waive it, it's not dependant on us.

What's the service fee?

It's the confirmation that you're interested in the room so we can remove it from all of our sales channels while the booking process is completed.

Be aware that this is a non-refundable fee.

When is the first invoice due?

It's due 14 days after it is sent. Be sure to check your email!

If your move-in date is within that period, that invoice is due 48 hours before your move in date.

What do I need to do before checking out?

Let us know your departure plans via email prior to your check-out day.

When you're moving out, be sure to:

  • Clear your belongings from any common areas
  • Take out the trash from your room
  • Leave the keys inside your room
  • Leave the room by 11AM at the latest so we can prepare for the next tenant.

What do I need to do to check-in?

You just need to tell us your arrival plans and contact info.

We'll contact you as your move-in date gets closer to get all the details and give you any necessary information.

Can I extend my lease?

Yes! Although it may be subject to availability and extra fees.

What's the maximum length of stay?

Our lease agreements typically last for up to 1 year, but if you wish to continue your stay just let us know.

We'll be happy to discuss extending your time with us.

What's the minimun length of stay?

Our minimum stay is 30 days.

What's like sharing an apartment with more people?

Sharing an apartment can be a lot of fun, but it also means shared responsibilities and mutual respect, creating a supportive and enjoyable living environment for everyone

There will be shared spaces like the kitchen or the living room to interact and get to know each other, if you'd like. However, you have your own private room with a lock, so you can share as much as you like while also having your own personal space.

Are there rooms for more than one person?

We have a few master suites that could host two people, although authorization is required.

If this may be your case, please message us to confirm availability.

Can I bring guests to my room?

Overnight guests are permitted however, Alohause must approve all guests, and allow access to the building.

A guest cannot stay more than 3 consecutive nights, and a total of 6 nights per month, unless agreed otherwise.

How does the cleaning of the apartment work?

It's a team effort among all current tenants to handle the daily cleaning tasks of the apartment. Ensuring a comfortable environment means each person makes sure to tidy up after themselves.

The cleaning fee is not associated with a daily cleaning service.

What if there's an issue?

We have a support team ready to help you.

For any questions or problems related to the apartment or the city you are going to prior to your check-in, you can contact us via email at support@alohause.com

For any billing-related inquiries or issues please reach out to our accounting team at billing@alohause.com and they will be happy to assist you.

Additionally, once you are settled into your room, you can report maintenance issues through your Guest Portal.

Are there rules in the apartment?

Yes, we have established rules in order to ensure the best possible experience for everyone in the house. It is not permitted to:

  • Perform annoying, harmful, unhealthy or illegal activities.
  • Smoking in any room of the house.
  • Carry out actions or activities contrary to the community or housing statutes.

Additionally, we established a set of community guidelines:

  • Respect quiet hours and be mindful of noise levels.
  • Maintain cleanliness in shared spaces.
  • Follow our guidelines regarding guest visits to balance residents' privacy.

Can I smoke in the apartments?

No. Smoking of any kind (including vaping) is strictly prohibited in the property, even on the balconies.

Are pets allowed?

No, unfortunately we do not allow pets.
